Asian Salmon Recipe
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 minced garlic
I was so excited after trying this recipe because I had finally found something simple but packed with flavor. Here is goes: Take the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and garlic and put them into a bowl then whisk them together. Apply half of the marinade to each of the 4 salmon fillets and let them sit for 10 minutes. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and put salmon in oven for 12-14 minutes. If you prefer to use a grill, (with skin place salmon marinade side down first) cook salmon for 4-5 minutes and then flip onto the skin side and let it cook for an additional 4-5 minutes. Remove salmon from heat and apply the last of the marinade to the fillet. Let the salmon sit for additional 10 minutes. Best served warm but if you have any leftovers it is always a great chilled or thrown over a salad.
